the article deals with the issues of studying the causes and conditions of juvenile delinquency and youth in modern Russian society. The analysis of the main factors determining criminal manifestations among persons of this age category is given. The main features related to the prevention of criminal behavior of the younger generation at all stages of the individual level of prevention are considered.
