Abstract (English):
The article examines the personality of the criminal within it’s meaning as a source of forensic information, and also emphasizes the theoretical and practical importance of the criminalistic portrait of the criminal's personality. Also given are the opinions of various authors on the importance of investigating the identity of the perpetrator as an element of the criminalistic characteristics of the crime.
