The article touches upon the issues of restriction of the right to travel outside the Russian Federation of certain categories of persons who have access to information constituting a state secret. The grounds and procedure of appeal to the Interdepartmental Commission for consideration of citizens ' appeals in connection with the restriction of their right to leave the Russian Federation, as well as the features of the judicial procedure for appealing the decision on the temporary restriction of the citizen's right to leave are considered.
