Abstract (English):
The article raises problematic issues of application of special knowledge in the investigation of thefts committed in the sphere of housing and communal services, in particular, the issues of design and construction forensic technical expertise. On the basis of empirical material, the authors analyze the reasons for the objective and subjective nature that affect the duration of the production of this type of expert study and offer relevant explanations and recommendations.
