This article discusses one of the pressing problems, development of methodology of assessment and analysis of efficiency of activity of the bodies of internal Affairs. The author shows the possibility of application in the evaluation methodology and analytical activities of the bodies of internal Affairs of such a method of statistical analysis, as the statistics of individual index. As a result of calculations of official statistical information for the period 2008-2012, the author analyzes the effectiveness of the activities of the internal Affairs authorities of Chukotka Autonomous district on the disclosure of killings and serious harm to health. On the basis of obtained results the estimation of efficiency of activity of Ministry of interior of Russia on the Chukotka and its territorial bodies of internal Affairs at the district level on disclosure of specified categories of crimes for 2013. The advantage of this method is the possibility of a more objective assessment of the effectiveness of the internal Affairs bodies in various areas entrusted to the police tasks and functions
