The article is devoted to the issues of forensic support for the investigation of crimes related to arson of railway relay cabinets. The features of the search for criminalistically important information during the inspection of the scene and the conduct of forensic examinations and studies that help to establish not only the source and cause of the fire, but also the method of committing the crime, the means and substances used, and potentially involved persons are formulated.
